>>Equipment Operator
KEC is hiring for the position of Equipment Operator, based at its location in Karnes City, Texas.
The purpose of this position is to operate and maintain right of way clearing equipment needed for all types of right-of-way clearing, and construction and maintenance jobs. Duties and responsibilities involved in this position include obtaining knowledge of the roads and location of lines within the cooperative’s service territory, and safely operating all equipment.
Applicants must have a Class A CDL. Must have the ability to use Microsoft 365 applications and obtain knowledge of the cooperative’s business software.
One years of work related experience is preferred.
>>Staking Technician
KEC is hiring for the position of Staking Technician, based at its location in Pleasanton, Texas.
The purpose of this position is to perform duties related to the staking of electrical distribution lines throughout the Cooperative’s service area, according to RUS staking specifications, and other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Vocational/Technical school or two years of college level courses in line design, GIS, or closely related field(s) preferred. Experience using relational databases, ESRI and/or CAD is preferred. Must have the ability to use Microsoft 365 applications.
