Meter Technician
KEC is hiring for the position of Meter Technician, based at its location in Pleasanton, Texas, until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
The purpose of this position is to maintain the accuracy of the electric meters in both the field and shop areas. Duties and responsibilities involved in the maintenance and support of the AMI system include programming, testing, calibrating electric meters, troubleshooting, reading meters, and configuration of metering and communication devices.
The job will require the use of a PC along with a multitude of different software to communicate with the different manufacturers of electric meters. Also, all the test equipment is PC based and has its own software to run the equipment. Must have the ability to use Microsoft 365 applications and obtain knowledge of the cooperative’s business software. Three years of industrial and electrical experience is preferred.
Member Service Representative Trainee
KEC is hiring for the position of Member Service Representative Trainee, based at its location in Pleasanton, Texas, until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
This entry-level position plays a key role in delivering outstanding service to our members. Responsibilities include maintaining customer account records, processing payments, preparing daily bank deposits, responding to member inquiries, and supporting general office operations.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have strong written and verbal communication skills. An associate’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with at least six months of experience in a public utility or cash-handling role. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
